Trans TV Monsters, Elle's Junior Year 3 Look Collection, was born out of the chaos of finding one’s self in a dying generation of party Nihilism, where the Acid cartoons we watched as kids crawl out of the TV box to play dress up.

Inspired by Gregg Arakis's 1997 "Nowhere," the final installment of his "Teen Apocalypse" trilogy, this movie follows a day in the life of kinda sorta off-brand LA Teens battling through kinky sex, hallucinogenic drugs, random violence, and alien abductions.

The movie encompasses the 90's techno-escapism that has morphed into 2018's Queer Nihilism, which informs this collection.

The Trans TV Monsters were the personifications of self-defense mechanisms suits that shield the wearer from the outside world while simultaneously exemplifying the violent visibility of queer bodies in a hetero/cisnormative space. Hiding but screaming at the same time, refusing to be silenced while protecting one’s self.

This collection is dedicated to all those who have died daring to be exactly who they are, all those people that go screaming, that go laughing, that go way too soon. To all the mentors and lovers and friends I could have had if the world didn't snuff out those who burn too brightly. These monsters are my children, they are my parents, and they are my friends.
